Very interesting image, Jim. I like the way you cropped it, creating an image I was forced to linger over. In my version, I upped the contrast a bit via a Curves adjustment plus I added a slight vignette. |

I agree with Jim. Great "decisive moment", smartly cropped. I agree about the shadows. They add a lot of interest. |

I like the flower in black and white, but I found the background too busy for my taste. I took it into Photoshop, duplicated the layer, did a "select subject" and created a mask. I then added a blank layer between the two layers and filled it with black and dropped the opacity until the background seemed dark enough. I finally added a vignette to further darken the edges. |

Always worth taking the time to look up when considering a subject as demonstrated by your image. Well processed and a lovely pattern. I do have to say that I find the foreground blur more of a distraction than a help in this case. |

I really admire people who can see an image in a subject I'd just pass by without a thought. Your original image is pretty compelling by itself, but your processing with Flood and Luminar really took it up a notch. I do agree with Gary and Arik about the toning. A neutral black and white works much better in my mind. |

I like this a lot, though I do see a bit of fringing along the trees that could be touched up a bit. I'm not sure what the technical reasons are for the material showing up as white, but I see it quite a lot in my own IR work. Flags are especially interesting if they're stitched. |

I love this composition, Charles. I also like Gary's processing, though I wouldn't have made the sky so dramatic. In fact, I would suggest going in and doing some selective blurring of the clouds to soften the sky to give the overall image a more tranquil feel. |

I love moss in IR and this image demonstrates why. Great processing and composition, though I agree that the image with more foreground is more compelling.

Terrific photo, Arik. The center bicyclist might have found it disturbing, but I love the combination of creative techniques here. |

Great scene for IR. I generally agree with the other comments. I have no problem with shed and truck in the same scene, but more separation would have improved things. Perhaps if you'd moved further to the right, you could have created a "triangle" of truck, shed and tree, assuming you wouldn't have ended up with other unwanted clutter in the frame. |
