Thanks, Peter. The trick with the bubbles is the glycerin content. Glycerin makes the bubble last longer, but too much has an antifreeze effect. As it happened, I had a bottle of bubble solution concentrate on hand for when the grandchildren come over. The normal ratio is one part concentrate to ten parts water. I mixed it one to seven and that worked well. The bubbles lasted a few minutes and still froze up.
I got the concentrate at Amazon here in the US. |

I agree with Allen. The texture in the water above the falls is interesting and it's a pity to lose it. Bringing up the shadows in LR would do wonders. The highlights are spot on in my opinion. |

I love this. Great job with the final crop. My only nit is to consider cropping down slightly from the top to remove that white line from the skylight. |

I think you succeeded admirably, Henry. Very moody and even a bit cold feeling. The only possible suggestion I have would be to crop up from the bottom a little bit to minimize the amount of pure black. |

Great subject! I can see why this caught your eye. However, I do find the sky on the right side of the image draws my eye from the trees themselves. I took it and cropped the right side and a bit of the bottom out. I also increased contrast and darkened the bottom edge. I think this version is more about the trees and less about the whole environment. I also like that gap running down the center of the composition. |

Very nice profile shot. Excellent choice for monochrome since the subject was mostly monochrome to start with. Well worth revisiting from your back catalog. My only thought is to consider tightening the crop to include less from the bottom and right edge. |

Thanks, Allen. One of the things I love about macro is the ability to stump people about what the image is. That's a great idea about making it a monthly theme. I'll pass that along to our directors. |

Thanks, Chuck. I played around quite a bit with the channels myself. Orange seems to be what the image called out for. |

Lovely shot, well composed and exposed. My only quarrel is that your processing almost turned it into a natural-looking image. If I were seeing this outside of the IR group, I'm not sure I'd immediately think "IR" here. I think it's mostly because of the blue sky and green leaves. |

Good job of combining one kind of alternative photography with another. The subject works really well for the kind of ICM you did here and the process supports the composition. |

I like this a great deal. The crop works really well, and the color processing gives it a certain "alien" look. Well done. |
