I like this a lot. I like the vanishing point in the center, particularly since you have it slightly above the vertical center. The shadows add a lot of interest here. Good work. |

Excellent processing, Jim. This is far more effective than the color version. You can really feel the textures of sea lion and rock in this image. |

I agree with Allen. The "leanedness" of the structure fits the overall theme of the image. Nicely processed. |

I like this a great deal. Nicely composed and your processing did an effective job with noise and sharpening. Good job of posing the bug. <g>
A few minor nits:
clone out that bright bit along the lower right edge; blur the stalk that extends from the top of the flower to the top edge just left of center. That'll make it more consistent with the other blurred background elements. |

Good suggestions, Gary. The thing on the sheep is a tracking device and you're right about looking like a bow tie. Not sure if I agree about the bit on the right, but selecting and recoloring the sheep is a good idea and worth pursuing. Thanks! |

Your instincts were spot on, Chan. This is a great subject for IR. Your composition is really good.
However, the blacks feel really heavy-handed to the point of losing detail in the trees. The vignette feels similarly heavy. You might try dialing back the blacks about half-way. |

I like your processing a great deal, but I think you might have been too aggressive with your cropping. Looking at the original, I find I really like both the foreground rock and the upper clouds. The image seems better balanced to me. |

Fun image, Judy. The beauty of infrared is the freedom to process an image any way you like. I especially like the panoramic crop you've done here. |

Nice composition and I like your color choices. The koi in the foreground are nicely placed. The biggest problem with the image is the blown out foliage above the bridge. If possible, you should go back to the raw file and see if you can recover the highlights. You might also want to clone out the half fish along the lower left edge. |
