Yeah, I hear you. These days, I just print for my own benefit and to keep the print heads unclogged. I try to do at least one print a week. |

Very nicely done, Jim. I think I have some old Venice mask images lurking somewhere that I might try a similar technique with. As to improvements, the only thing I might try would be to darken the bit of mask at the top center to better separate it from the top part of the middle mask and then darken the cards a bit more.
I don't know if you print your images, but this would look terrific on metallic finish paper like Red River's Polar Pearl Metallic. |

I agree with Allen. You really thought outside the box on this one. Excellent. |

I like where you were going with this, Peter. I took it bit further by cropping in a bit, mostly to get rid of the bits of leaves on the right edge and deemphasize the ones at the top. I then dodged the leaves to make them stand out more from the pavement. |

Nice capture, Allen. I like the contrast between the power line components and the pole and raven. The various loops and diagonals interact nicely as well. |

I love subjects like this and your black and white processing is exactly right. I do find your vignetting to be too heavy handed for my taste though that's a judgment call. |

Great subject for IR and nice color processing. There were a few things in the composition that bothered me - specifically the leaf coming down from the upper right and the center tree being dead center. I really liked the idea of a square crop, so I zoomed in a bit to get rid of the leaf and move the tree away from the middle of the frame. I also used a curves adjustment to increase contrast. |

Nicely done. This is a subject I'm generally tempted to make dark and moody, but I like your combination of colors here. Lisa's adjustments also work well. |

Tulips are one of my favorite IR subjects. I like this a lot, especially the interaction between the white flowers and the violet ones. Flowers are nicely arrayed and I like the black background. |
