Jim,
I almost always run Silver Efex Pro as a filter in Photoshop, which means I have a separate BW layer. What I would do in this case is run Silver Efex Pro twice in PS, the first time with no adjustments, the second with the effect or preset I want. I'd then create a mask on the top layer and brush out the noisy areas.
The problem with running a denoise filter on top is that it softens the overall picture. DeNoise AI is very good, but it still takes a toll on the image. It's easier to deal with the problem earlier in the process. |

I definitely vote for the more dramatic version. I agree with the other comments and suggestions. I do find the sky rather noisy, however. I'm guessing your Silver Efex preset might have been responsible. |

Well done, Jim. You found a terrific composition and I agree that monochrome was the right choice in processing. I also agree about the foliage. |

Very nice image, Sharron. I love clouds, but I don't tend to see shapes very often. This is a great reminder to open up my imagination when looking at familiar objects. I have no suggestions. |

I can see why you've hung onto this image. I liked what Jim and Allen have done. I've taken Allen's version, dealt with the white fringing around the dome and cropped it a more panoramic fashion. That gets rid of the some of the more problematic parts of the sky while preserving the rays coming closer to the buildings. I also did a bit of dodging and burning. |

The fence doesn't bother me and I would probably leave it intact. I do prefer Jim's crop, however. |

Nice processing. I like what Judy did with the right edge, though I would also crop down from the top to make the water more of the main subject. |

Good lines and repetitive elements work well with the unusual colors. Well done.

Well-composed cityscape with a very subtle surreal feel. The reddish foliage is a wonderful contrast here. |

Very interesting image. I like the way the road moves into the frame and the way the branches and the gravestones contrast with the leaves. The different shades of pink interact well here. Nicely done. |
