Thanks for pointing out those other images, Stephen. Some very interesting work. I need to remember to survey the other groups. |

Love this image, Jim. Great subject and excellent crop choice. Processing is perfect for this image. |

You had me at infrared, Jim. <g>
This is a terrific image. The geometry and tones are spot on. Love the splashes of light across the hay. |

Sharron - great concept and resulting image. I made a couple of modifications: I cropped down from the top as all that white space tended to draw my eye from the main subject. I also selected the newspaper front page and increased contrast to make the headline pop out a bit more. I agree with leaving in the vents, camera, and other "bits". |

Wonderful, moody image. I did a couple of things in my edit. I cropped in a bit on the right and did a bit of cloning to get rid of those bits of white along the edge. I also darkened the mountain as it kept drawing my eye from what I saw as the main subject: the corridor down the middle. |

Lovely shot, Allen. I love the juxtaposition between the twisted wood and the canyon rocks. I did two things in my version: I cropped in on the left side. I didn't think that bush added much to the composition. I think my crop has a bit better overall balance. I also did a bit of dodging in the foliage to bring back some of the highlights to give a bit more dimensionality. |
