Gorillas are such a wonderful photographic subject and your edits are excellent, in my mind. But one comment that I have is that the black background is very good but you cannot see the other eye as well. The #3 background is amazing because it is not distracting and you can see the other eye. (It's a small thing, though) The picture is awesome! |

Such a nice landscape! The small brick building is the focus on the left and it is so well-focused and keeps your interest. But I like that there are trees framing on both sides of the scene. I like the white on the water because it shows movement in the water. Is there a water drop in the middle of the upper wall? The wall is lighter right in the center. Also, I feel that the scene is tilted just slightly and to make it level it needs to come up just a bit. |

You are right there is a disconnect and it is almost like there are two photos. |

I agree with you about the photo -- it really does have two parts and too much space between. Given the set up of the train I could only get to one side . If I could have gotten behind the train I might have been able to get the children's expressions with the train in front. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions! |

Robert, thanks so much for editing the photo based on the suggestions. The distance from the train and the barrier were a big problem. My intention was to get the expressions on the children and yours is a better treatment. Getting rid of the barrier and reducing the color cast was much better. Thanks! |

Good suggestion to remove the barrier. And to fix the too-warm tone of the photo.
They are my grandchildren so I am blind to the flaws. Thanks. |

Great job getting the baby Sandhill Crane in the sunshine. The eye is in focus and the light on the bird is very nice. I agree with David that the yellow reeds are too much in focus and they distract from the bird. Robert's crop and edits are very good, also. |

The fog gives the landscape such a moody feel. Your composition is spot on. Such a calm atmospheric scene. I am curious about what is in the bottom left corner. I almost wish it was a rabbit or some animal to give the foreground some interest, but it's difficult to figure out what that object is. |

Very creative. I'm trying to figure out how you created the water reflection. Was it water or an inverted image on which you used the liquify tool? How did you get the ping pong ball back lit with red? Such an interesting idea and right in your home. Nice job! |

Nice capture of the action of the children trying to touch the bubbles. I like how the bubbles are all in focus and the bubbles stretch across the photo, tying everything together. The faces of the two small children in the front are in focus and that's enough to keep your interest. It's strange that a few of the feet are in focus but not all. |
