I think what makes this photo stand out is how well you captured the horse in the frame. Your exposure of the horse is excellent and you carefully straightened the lines of the frame and lines of the building to not be distracting. Plus, I also like the teal and orange color combination. This is a winner! |

So this month seems to be the month for action shots. Welcome to our group. I have a British daughter-in-law and she has tried to explain cricket to me and I would like to see an actual game. You caught the action of the bowler and the ball perfectly with your 1/1600 shutter speed. But the expression on his face is so fantastic! It makes the image stand out. Good job cloning out the tree trunks. |

You captured the dancer in a very interesting pose. You chose the right shutter speed to freeze the action at just the right time and you have the ISO high enough to capture the scene in low light with good color. Great job! |

Your image really captures how immense the ceiling of the airport terminal building is. Your eye keeps going up. When I first looked at the image I didn't know what the shape was on the left. Then your description described the nose of the plane. I think I would have liked to see the entire plane or a part of a plane. However, your image is a study in monochrome and it highlights line, shape and perspective. Great job! |

You captured the car and it looks like it was standing still on the track except for the wheel interior which is blurred. The backdrop of track and green blue indicates that it was a panned shot. I've done some panning myself and I know how difficult it is, but I am amazed that you were able to get the entire car in focus. I'm looking at the shutter speed and I would have thought it had to be faster. Good color and good exposure...Well done! |

Nice shot of the highway with the lights in long exposure. Good capture of the scene at the blue hour with the crescent moon high in the sky and the evening sunlight over the city. The plants on the left are distracting and it might be improved by cropping some off the left. I agree with David that the trees could be lightened. |
