45 May 21 Comment Very interesting grouping of items. They all have curved lines and the greenery pulls it all together. I think another grouping you could try would be to not put everything in a row but put something in front of another. Even so, the items have so much textural interest it keeps your eye looking. I also like the reflections in the black below. Great job! May 9th
45 May 21 Comment I liked how you chose to crop the photo down to the face. I like the face centered but I do like the original color and texture of the feathers in the original photo-more realistic. Very compelling stare on the Great Egret! May 9th
45 May 21 Comment I used to live in Virginia and photographed Virginia Bluebells as a single flower. I have never seen them in a vast field like you photographed. So beautiful! I like the sunlight on the top of the flowers. It would have been spectacular with the sun included but it is a beautiful image.Well done! Vibrant colors in early spring! May 9th
45 May 21 Comment This photo definitely conveys a mood and the mood is somber. Nothing wrong with that. You have captured 3 trees in winter and fog surrounding them. The railing with the design detail adds to the geometrical feel of lines and shapes in black and white. Very relaxing photo. May 9th
45 May 21 Comment This image has many good features including the beautiful curved lines of the bridge and the curved line of lights reflected in the water. Stunning! I agree that you could have gotten 50-60 seconds of shutter if you had raised the ISO to 6400 or so given the time of night. May 9th
45 May 21 Comment I have seen the surreal photography before and marveled at it. You have given us a glimpse into that genre. It is an amazing portrait and I am not surprised you have gotten first place. What interested me were the touches that you did to her face in PS liquify and changing the background to turquoise. The model's hair stands out in this photo and the color adds so much to the cool colors of the rest of the photo! Great job! May 9th
