I have never see an Orangutan that looks quite like this. The beautiful turquoise color on the face, the texture and color in the hair and face, all were so remarkable. Also the composition of the entire head and the upper-torso are just right in the frame. Plus, the expression on the face is perfect. You nailed this, Cindy. Well done! |

Those birds do seem to be standing at attention! And reducing the exposure was the right thing to do. I do wish you had raised the exposure just slightly more and increased light in the shadows because you have lost definition in the faces of these birds. |

It is so difficult to get perfectly focused flowers close-up outdoors in spring because of wind. But I was amazed you could get such sharpness, hand-holding your camera/lens. The two blossoms are looking away from each other and they have a nice symmetry-almost. I like David's darkening of the background for these flowers stand out better now. |

I am so impressed with this image and that you used the infrared technique. I have not tried infrared photography so I am not sure how to critique what I am seeing. The sky and the dark areas that are the lakes are excellent. The trees might have a little too much pure white in spots-almost looks blown out. But that might very well be the way it should be. Good job with Infrared. |

Your attention to detail is so good. Everything about this photo is well thought out, creative and unusual. I would like to create something like this. The patterns of color in the bubbles enhance the entire photo. Great job! |

The whale sculpture is well-captured. Adding a reflection to the foreground really made the image much better. The bright light is annoying but it is a nighttime shot and those are to be expected. Good job! |
