It looks like an experiment with stacking 3 similar images in camera. It's nice that the camera can do this technique, and your image is a good expression of that technique. It's a pattern and a very colorful one. I myself would prefer a focal point to the image, for instance, one flower of a completely different kind and/or color. |

The night scene of the photo is well-composed with the building in the background and branches to act as the frame around the scene. I like the position of the objects in the foreground which allow you to view the building in the background. Exposure was good. It brought out the unusual pattern on the outside of the buildings. I like the buildings straightened as shown in Cindy's photo. Great job! |

Hi Don,
The photo was taken at about 2:30 pm so it was not very close to the sunset on a somewhat cloudy day. |

This little school house is adorable! And you made it more so with the red door and the flowers. The colorful sky just enhances the scene; you caught it at the perfect time: setting sun. Good exposure on the house. I do feel that the house is slanted a bit or maybe it is that the building is on an incline from left to right. That's probably the way it sits but it feels like it needs to be straightened. Great job on this! |

This a terrific wildlife image! You captured the heron perfectly. His eye and beak are so sharp and his feathers are clear. The snake in his beak is good too, however I would suggest you lighten the face of the snake, just around the eyes. It's a little dark there. Awesome capture! |

Such a wide array of wildflowers! I can see why you want to photograph them all. You have a nice selection. I love that you used a super-wide lens at super-wide opening. The exposure is perfect for the grasses in front which have some nice contrast. I would suggest correcting the horizon line and cropping out most of the sky. Your subject is front and center-most of the sky is not needed. Well done! |

A beautiful lotus flower image. I'm always curious about settings for flower images because of decisions of what to get in focus and how. Your f-stop and long lens got you the whole top of the flower in focus. Well done. The flower seems to glow. So I like your decisions on darkening background and raising the highlights. You nailed it. |
