Sharon, Very nice Dahlia image. I am curious about IR and I wanted to see what and how you were editing your image. Great job with the processing! I guess CLir is Topaz Clear? |

Thanks, Charlie, for your comments! I tried to reduce the highlights on the boulders but I think they are ok as is. |

Thanks for the comments! I believe the bands at the water level are water marks. The Watson Lake is formed by a dam and I believe they control the water levels. The water level marks are what drew my eye to the scene. |

The initial photo is flat and uninteresting, almost forbidding. But you transformed the scene with your editing to show the colors in the greenery, the patterns in the rock wall of the hospital and the reflections in the water. I especially like the little rock stairway to the left in front. Very interesting scene and it keeps your interest. |

Great job capturing this sparrow in the middle of its song! Yes, very difficult to capture the small birds that move around so much. It's a bit soft on the focus but totally understandable with the cropping. You might want to push your shutter speed over 1/250 sec when photographing birds. |

Great job on the focus stacking of the purple iris. The petals of your iris have sharp focus and wonderful rich color. I especially like the orange in the center of the flower. The only suggestion I have is to make sure you don't crop the edges of the petals on the sides. |

The scene on the lake must have been incredible. I like how the kayak is a colorful spot in the foreground. But I would have liked to see more of the kayak in the water to give the image more interest. The view of the clouds that seem to go for miles in the distance is interesting but they are blown out. You should see if you can reduce the exposure. Lovely, mountain water scene! |

Absolutely stunning image! I do a fair amount of Macro photography and some stacking as well. I usually find that I end up with petals or leaves that are blurry. Great job getting all the thorns and petals sharp. Plus, the flower does look like a floating cloud. |

This is a most beautiful cityscape photo of downtown Taipei City. I like that you have captured the image when there is still color in the sky but you can see the city light. The composition is very good because the line of hills in the foreground has an upward angle. The buildings are fairly sharp and the lights are colorful. But the best part, for me, are the hazy, blue mountains in the background. Great job! The framing foliage does not add to the image because it intrudes into the scene too much. A narrower frame of foliage would be better. |
