Sharon,
Love your treatment of this little house. I especially like the leaves on the tree. Great job! |

There is so much to see in this image that your eye keeps moving around. I love the colors and the textures. I agree that you could use a slight vignette for the edges. I am amazed at the exposure you were able to get out of the scene with your post-processing. It would make an interesting puzzle. Great job with the image. |

Nice capture of these two sandhill cranes. The red patch between the eyes draws your eye there. My immediate reaction is that the image is dark. I would lighten the shadows, expecially around the eye and side of the body of the crane in the back, and on the body of the crane in the front. |

Such an incredible face. I also wish I could see the woman's eyes. But there are other strong elements to the photo. I actually like your original photo. Since you can't see the whole face, I like being able to see the hat and the scarf as you have taken it originally. Gives the viewer more context. And the stunning blue color! Gorgeous. |

My first glance at this image was that it was very simple. It's an example of how photographers select a scene that means something to them but doesn't convey that to the viewer. The cabin is placed in the left third which is good, but I think there is too much snow on the right, crop it somewhat. If you could go back, I would go either at twilight when there are a few stars in the sky or cloudy sky. Then, I would place a flashlight in the cabin, build a fire so there is smoke coming out of the pipe. Then snap your photo. It just needs a little warmth or interest in the sky. |

What an excellent photo opportunity! Models and elaborate costumes, plus lighting! How fun! You captured the dress and the headdress of horns nicely. There is just enough light on the dress and feathers to see the texture and the purple color. Lighting is excellent! Her face is turned to so that the light brings out her features. She is beautiful and she does not look evil. I also think the hands and arms are in an interesting position. It brings attention to the gloves which are textured and blocks too much attention to arms. Well done! |

The curve of the mountains, the clouds moving in, the gray water and the overall subdued colors give the image a lot of drama. Then, you have the ship moving straight toward the camera and the ship has bright colors. Well composed with the ship in the right third of the frame. Very nice. |
