Wow what a shot! I'm sure that with your talents you could arrange to remove the clouds and put in a blue sky. Love the person left there as a scale. Love that they blend in with the colours in the image too. You did really well to bring out the detail in the rock that would have been in shadow. |

G'day Andrew. When I first looked at the image, I thought it was a line of athletic vaulting horses, but after reading your blurb, I suspect it is part of the pier as well. The shadows and other patterns are interesting. Consider cropping out the bits of white cloud at the top of the image that keep begging for attention. |

G'Day Shari. Your treatment of this image is good. Taking out those pesky items has worked well as now there is a nice clean image. I hope you don't mind, but I had a play with your image to try to make the bridge stand out. I masked the bridge in Lightroom before lightening those shadows. I added black, texture, contrast and clarity. I then wondered what was inside the bridge, so I made another mask just for the inside of the bridge and lightened the shadows, added a little texture and then lightened the exposure. The eye now is drawn to the bridge because it is different to the surrounding background. I'd be interested to know what you think. |

G'day Don. I like the colours, but the first thing that I noticed was the uneven height of the handles. Not sure what can be done. I also wonder what the image would look like flipped horizontally so that the lock was on the right hand door. At the moment, it seems to be a block to the eye moving across the image. |

G'day Janice. I find my eye wandering around the image looking for somewhere to settle. I wonder if cropping out the tree on the right, making the image a square presentation would make us concentrate on the main stump. To me the image looks to be dipping down to the right just a tiny bit. I'm impressed at the clarity you were able to get from the moving boat. I do like the touches of green, especially in the reflection. |

G'day Ling Ling. I have no idea what the birds were doing, but to me it looks like the line was the audience for the performance of the three birds. |

G'day Catherine. your tree looks like a person dancing. Think about adding a face/head for a creative photograph. I do think that Don's crop makes us look more at the tree and the stars. You did really well to get so much detail in the tree that would have been in the dark. |
