Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
2 Nov 25 Comment Hi Martin, I would not crop the sky. I think the sky now adds to the remoteness of the building. It will be interesting to see what the other members of your group think. Nov 9th
2 Nov 25 Comment Hey Guru! You have done a such a great job with the processing of this image. Consider removing the horizontal wires as well. This would just leave the building and post with it's associated wires giving the image a deserted feel. Are you able to bring out the writing on the building a little more? Nov 6th

40 Nov 25 Comment Hi Shari and welcome to this part of the Group! I do think you have processed the image well. I will say that when I first saw your image, I looked for a fairy hiding somewhere on the left side of the image! The coloured version adds mystique and I find myself exploring the forest. The only comment I could say is to try burning the horizontal part of the frame on the right side of the image. I feel it is still too bright (compared to the other parts of the frame) and it is drawing my eye continually. Nov 9th
40 Nov 25 Comment Hi Ling Ling,

consider lightning the shadows on the doors , especially the one at the end of the walkway path. This may add extra interest to your image. There are a couple of lighter coloured doors where we can see the detail they contain. There are many leading lines leading us to the end of the pathway, but we can't see what is there. Great try at monochrome. Keep it up!

40 Nov 25 Comment Hi Andrew. I like your image. The only thing that I would do is to darken the grey parts of the rock wall at the sides of the tunnel. The bricks look ok though. The figure at the end is well placed. Nov 6th
40 Nov 25 Comment Hi Don, the colours are great together. Is it possible to dull the metal bars inside the window as they are distracting. The blue stripe works well though. The rails on the ground work well too. Nov 6th
40 Nov 25 Comment Hi Janice, You have done a great job with the post processing. The rocks in the foreground add a visual element, but if you do get rid of them consider a panorama shaped image only leaving a small amount of the dark water. The aurora is definitely the hero in the image. I laughed when I saw the duck trails in the original. They were very busy! Nov 6th
40 Nov 25 Comment Hi Catherine, yes. Your image does tell a story. The crabs look like what we call Blue Swimmer Crabs. We would boil them in salted water until the shell colour went red. Don's image, being more centred and showing a little more of the basket looks good. Being picky, my eye keeps going to the red band on his glove, probably because it is not in the blue colour palette like everything else in the image. Nov 6th
