Cropping the sky works well. Thanks |

The 16:9 crop works really well. It removes extra sky and makes the eye concentrate more on the boats. Thank you! |

Thanks for your suggestion about the pathway. It does work better darkened.

Thanks Don. I also think the rope (that I now see) is distracting and will remove it. |

Hi Andrew, As you will be aware you cannot add or remove anything from a Photo Journalism image. You can crop though. I think I would try to crop diagonally (to keep the image ratio) from the bottom right corner to remove the shadow of the pole. This would also take away some of the bottom of the car which should help make the people the focus of the image. |

Oh Henry, you are clever! The replaced sky works so well in this image. You have cloned out the tree in the top right, but consider doing the same to the memorial stones in the bottom right and also bottom right to make the image cleaner. The colours work very well together. |

Hi Don, Even though I enjoy black and white photography, I think I like the coloured version better. I like the way the walls are green but the ceiling and floor are not. It helps guide the eye to the interesting parts of the garage. |

Hi Janice. Well spotted. So often we go to these parks and don't see the small things. You have processed this well. The only comment I will make is try cropping in further if you can to make the frog bigger in the image. It is cute the way it's rear end is in shadow while the frog is peering over the edge of the leaf. |

Hi Ling Ling. You have a great image! I am wondering if you could move to the left a d squat down a bit to place the moon on the flagpole? A square presentation, cropping some off the sky and water may bring the scene a bit closer to the viewer. Try shooting at around f8+ to increase the depth of field which should decrease the focus blur and compensate by using an iso of around 1600. You can use a denoise program to remove any noise. Hope this helps. Have fun playing!! |

Hi Catherine, I do like your image. the colours work well together and the buildings are showing interesting shapes. I don't think I would change anything. |
