40 Aug 25 Comment Hi Andrew, We don't have castles here in Australia so I can only imagine what it is like to stand and look at one. I do like your second shot better as it now gives room for everything and it doesn't feel so crammed. However it has now taken on a yellow cast. The two outer turrets (??) seem to be crooked. My eyes keep being drawn to the light green bushes at the front instead of looking at the castle. Aug 22nd
40 Aug 25 Comment Hi Don, The mono treatment works really well and you've done a great job wit the conversion. I like that we can see into the shadows now. I agree with the building on the left. PS should be able to help with some of the things in the transform tab. I do find my eye wandering trying to find something to settle on. Aug 22nd
40 Aug 25 Comment Hi Janice, Looks like you had a great time in Paris. I've not been there, but nothing in the image tells me it is taken in Paris. I too feel that the statue is too close to the edge. I would include the urn to give things more room. Have you tried to dehaze the image which might take out some of the cloudiness. I don't mind that the people are small as they are the first things you look at because they are the light coloured things in the image.I don't mind that we can't see what they are looking at. 40 Aug 25 Comment Hi Ling Ling, Great shot! You were so lucky that your guide was so observant. Please check out the rules for processing if you want to keep this as a Nature image for competition. Vignettes are not allowed at all. I do think that cropping in a bit more would bring the Cheetah closer. Aug 22nd
40 Aug 25 Comment Hi Catherine, What an interesting shot. Well taken from a moving boat too. The square presentation works well. I agree with Janice that cropping in on the right to remove the crooked pylon would work well. Something is saying to me that the flag should be blowing the other way. Could I suggest that yu flip the image horizontally to see what it looks like. Of course you may want to keep the image as you saw it. The wires don't worry me at all. Aug 22nd
