Thanks Don, looks like where to crop is a subjective thing! Your comments have given food for thought. |

Hi Catherine, you have a lovely shot of the Milky Way. I usually find an excuse not to go out to shoot it...too cold, too windy, it will be there again tomorrow etc! You even managed to catch a ?satellite on the right side. A square crop to remove the car lights might help, but I do like the other lights on the right which add extra interest. |

Hi, this is a beautiful photograph that you must be so very proud of! You haven't sent the original image, is there anything on the right side that you can add as the iceberg is cropped off a tiny bit. I would put this through Topaz denoise which may do something to the radiating lines in the sky. There is so much detail in the actual iceberg and denoise may help there too. So very well done. I hope you clear a space on your wall for this one! |

Hi Andrew, An interesting image. My two cents worth is to make this a square crop and only include the ladies and the two wooden sculptures also having a conversation. I think this would make a very strong image. |

Oh Henry, clever you! I like the story telling in your image, including the yawning man on the left. Your image is a bit small to tell, but there is a lot of detail in the machine of the original image that may be lost in shadows in the larger one. Good work! |

Hi Don, I do like your finished image. I like the cropping you have done to bring the old building to the fore. I would dull the brightness of the building on the left as it is very striking and takes the attention. Have you tried PShop..Edit..Transform..skew to straighten various parts of the image? I think you have done well with straightness, it just needs a little tweek at the bottom on both sides. |
