You sure do have an eye for the unusual!
Well taken and processed. I think the low light of the afternoon sun has lit her beautifully. |

Hi Henry,
I did think of you when we were watching the reports of the smoke from the Canadian fires on the TV. I hope that you are not too badly affected by the smoke!
I like your image. The bush in the foreground gives a scale so that we can tell the boats were far away. Is it possible to lighten the boat on the right a little?

Hi Jamie,
What a great capture! I like the way you have caught the ice. I've never seen icebergs, but I've seen many photographs from friends who have. I like the colouring and tonings that you have presented. Perhaps it needs some separation from the sky somehow. Don's darker sky does do that, but I'm not sure what the sly was like when you were there. Please be careful with halos around the edges of the ice if you do play with the sky. |

Hi Ling Ling, what a beautiful story and you have a beautiful photo to look at to remind you of this time. I live in Adelaide, Australia. It is midday and only 55F. My initial look at your image made me feel colder!
I like the composition here and the leading line of the creek (?) taking us to the lit area. If I was going to do anything to this image, I would consider cropping the intruding tree on the right. This then focuses all attention on the tall tree and the sunny light behind it.

Hi Catherine, I think your combination of colour has worked really well. What an interesting plant! Perhaps try lowering the highlights in the background as I keep being taken there. |

I think that is an interesting image. The leading lines taky you through the image. |

Hi Andrew, this was well seen. The colours all compliment each other too. Have you considered playing with this image by turning it 90 degrees clockwise to put the coloured line at the top of the image. As presented, I am struggling to find something at the end of the strong leading lines. By rotating it, I feel it works well. I would think about darkening the v at the top of the three window arches at the very edge of the frame to take that distraction away. You've tried something different and I like it. |
