Hi Catherine, I'm sure Lil Dan has a story to tell, but he's keeping it to himself. As he is hiding in amongst the reeds, I think I would like to see the tops of the reed flowers too. |

Hi Lin, I like dandelions balls and think they are fun to photograph. I'd like to see this one cropped in to remove some of the grass. Sorry to see you are leaving the group. I wish you much fun with your photography in the future! |

Hi Jamie, This is an interesting photo that you have taken very well. My first thought was "Ah, Cousin It and his friends (Addams Family). I agree with the others that it needs a little more light. This is a shot that should be on your wall. |

Hi Don, This could have been taken any where in Australia. The colours here are very vivid as we do not have a lot of pollution affecting our brilliant blue skies. People in the northern hemisphere often do not understand just how bright our colours are. Have you thought about lifting the shadows in the trees to try for a little more detail there? I have thousands of photos taken at the wrong time of the day, cause that was when I was there. I think this may have been taken around the middle of the day, which ans you know, is not the best time for landscape photography. I do like the composition though.

Hi Henry, I can't imagine what it would be like living in an area that is covered in snow for so much of the year. (I have been to snow covered Aareas, but only for a week at a time). What a good solution you found. Your flowers are very colourful and as others have said, unfortunately, so is the background. I like Catherine's idea of desaturating the background, leaving the texture. It would be interesting to see how that would look. |

Hi Andrew, I agree that black and white is a good choice for this image. I do like the crop that takes away the bright wall on the left. My version of the crop takes away the plaque at the bottom which I find distracting. |
