I actually think the bystander adds to this image. She seems oblivious to their presence and they of hers. Yes, it is a busy image, but there is so much to observe. So many stories. The two musicians on the right seem to be having their own moment, which the remainder of the musicians don't seem to be aware of. Great image! |

Hi Andrew, the water looks like molten copper, but I do find that the unreal blue colour of the sky distracting. I wonder if you could change the hue and desaturate the sky a little. The clouds in the sky are great and add so much to the image. The building is stunning. |

Thanks Henry. It is always difficult to take photos of bright things in the dark of night. |

Hi Henry, The colour of the irises is stunning. I would clone out the three light areas down the right hand side and also the bright spot above the blurred out flower in the top of the image. I wonder if lifting the shadows a little would make the image pop. There is a lot of detail in each flower so well done there. |

Hi Don, This is an interesting image and I do like the monochrome treatment. It makes us look around rather than have our eyes diverted by bright colours. I do like your edited image. It addresses some of the comments I was going to make. The city looks more alive now. I like the Salesforce Tower being off centre and I think the rooftop cranes add to the story. |

Hi Lin, I do like your image! The colours are great, but I also like the colours in the original image too. I would clone out the light poles on the right as once you see them, they take your eye all the time. Great capture! |

Hi Catherine,
Unlike Henry, I find the grasses on the right very distracting. I do love the colours in this image and the walk that your dock takes me on. Is the horizon straight? This is an interesting image that I could look at for ages, wondering what the various stories are over the years that this dock gave service. |
