40 Jun 22 Reply Thanks for your comments Don. No, we weren't in a boat. We were standing knee deep in the sea and the wave surfers were showing off for the cameras. They were circling us, hence the trees in the background. Jun 8th
40 Jun 22 Comment Hi Don, this is an interesting image. I do like the B&W conversion. I wonder what a square crop would look like. I find there is too much to see in the portrait version and my eye just roams around. By having a smaller field it should make the seats stand out more. Jun 8th
40 Jun 22 Comment Hi Catherine. I love it. You have done such a great job adding the colour. The photo looks like a painting where the brush has been dragged around the canvas. As Don has said, perhaps you should try to sell copies of this image. I never would have guessed a bullet hole in glass! (I wonder if dropping the highlights a little might improve the image a little.) Jun 8th
40 Jun 22 Comment Hi Andrew, Something that Australia lacks is architecture of this age! Our country was settled in 1788. I do like Don's B&W version of the image. This makes the statue stand out really well. I must say that the manicured bushes look like cupcakes to me. Have you thought of cloning out the crutch? Jun 8th
