Hi Nigel, thank you for taking the time to make comments on my image. I certainly will have a play with trying to lighten the image. |

Hi Catherine, I do hope you enjoy this lens over the coming years! Great shot for being one of your first hand held big lens images. This is a bird that I am not familiar with as we don't see them in Australia. Is the bird in breeding plumage, or is it always so fancy? I would crop this image to a portrait shape, taking away the distracting branches on the left of the image and also the reeds on the right. In the process, I would take a bit off the top, but leave more room on the right where he is looking. This should then just leave grass behind the bird. |

Hi Alison. Poor baby doll! I'm afraid that I did not see her until I read the title of your image. I wonder if she was a bit lighter it would draw the eye to her more. Interesting story. Now, what to do with her! |

Hi Jamie, This is a great photo of Antelope Canyon. It is a view that I have not seen before and I really like it. There is so much to see. I know you said the image needs work and I hope that removing those very bright areas in the top of the image is on the to do list. I really look forward to seeing the final product! |

Hi Don, thanks for your comments. I encourage you to have a go at some bird photography. Shooting something like seagulls is easier than trying to capture many other types of birds. |

Thanks Martin. You certainly were able to get a lot more interest in the wings than I did. I shall have to play with it. |

Hi Don, I really like black and white photography, but I feel this one is better in colour. I like the reflections of the clouds in the water, but they don't show up in the B&W image.
I would also try to lighten the shadows in the bushes in the water to see if there is any detail there. The starburst from the sun certainly adds interest! |

Hi Henry,
I like your image. I think I would try to lighten the middle of the top flower to show what is hiding in the shadows. I do like the insects that you were able to capture on the main flower. I like the crop too. |

Hi Andrew, this is an interesting image which really captures lots of details. I agree with Stephen's comments. The converging lines don't bother me at all. |
