I have had a play with your suggestions in mind and came up with this open image. Thank you so much for making me think outside the square! |

Hi Catherine, you have a very interesting image here. I found myself looking for different things in the shapes and I found a bull's head in the bottom left as well as many sets of eyes looking back at me. |

This looks like the little white cloud is raning on the grey clouds! |

Hi Alison, this is a lovely image. I spent some time looking at it, wondering various things. I then opened up the original and noticed Joe for the first time! Joe give the image some scale. I now know how big the waterfall and rocks are. Just a shame that he is feeling a little blurry. I love the eddies and they keep taking my interest. Keep taking these waterfall photos! |

Hi Jamie, I tend to wonder what the owners of the skulls would be thinking if they knew what had happened to their remains. Your choice of B&W was excellent. |

Hi Anne, I do love the colour palette in the original image. It looks like it has come from an old book. The B&W is my choice for this image though. I think I would crop some off the bottom to make the image more panorama in shape. This then focuses theeye on the lighthouse and other buildings instead of roaming around the bushes and rocks. Great shot! |

Hi Henry, I'm going to go against the flow and say that I would crop it to a squarer shape, cutting out the horizontal stick, but leaving the 3 leaves. This, to my mind, really focuses the eye on those beautiful coloured leaves. I find that my eye is fighting between the brightly coloured leaves and the pinwheel/star in the bottom right. |

Hi Andrew, I like both images. The colour one keeps bringing my eye to the newer, orange crane. I enjoy the colour palette too. I also like the mono image as there are no distractions there. The reflections in the water are interesting too. |

Hi Catherine, We loved watching these birds as they enjoyed their food. Don't know that I would be able to stand on one leg while I ate! |

Hi Sharon and thanks for your comments! This was the first time we had seen these birds in the wild too. Unfortunately, I just missed the one on the left with his crest up. The crest is made up of white, yellow and dark pink stripes and is very pretty. |

Hi Lisa, thanks for commenting on my image! I will play around with your suggestions. They are eating Paddy Melons, not pomegranates.

Hi Mike, thanks for commenting on my image! The food they are eating are paddy melons. The melons are poisonous to humans and some animals, but these birds seemed to be enjoying them. When they flew away, they took their melons with them.
