Thanks Jamie. I really did wonder how the fisherman was going to get off the rocks safely because the tide was coming in, but I guess they had done this before and knew what they were doing. |

Thanks for your idea Henry, I will have a play and crop some off to see what it looks like. |

Hi Alison, Thanks for your comments. This photo was taken at 1/60th second, F2.8, ISO 100. The original was very much the same as the final product. After cropping, I did increase the saturation plus increased the red, orange and yellow colours as well as the colour temperature. I increased the clarity plus I dropped the highlights and increased the shadows. I also increased the black level. Thanks for taking me back to the beginning! I had forgotten what the image looked like before I started fiddling! |

Hi Catherine, Photography is a bit hard in this social distancing era, so I'm glad that you have some beautiful flowers in your garden to play with. (In Australia we are in the grips of winter and there aren't many flowers around in my garden at the moment. Even though it is cold, we don't get snow here in Adelaide either.) Have you thought about focus stacking an image like this? You may be able to get a much sharper image using that method. It is a beautiful flower and you should be proud of it! |

Hi Alison. What a wonderful way to remember your Mothers Day flowers! I think you have been very creative with them. I find the two white triangles very bright and wonder what the image would look like if you picked the yellow/brown colour from the petals of the middle flower instead.
I wish you the best of luck for your big move! |

Hi Jamie, I really like the mono treatment of this image. The sky is really dramatic too. I agree with Anne, that it would be interesting to see this as a panorama with some of the water at the bottom removed. I would take out about 2/3 of the water. I think this would show that wonderful sky a bit better and bring the boats to us a bit more. A great image! |

Hi Anne, what an interesting image you have given us! I think I would darken the bright light at the top of the image which was sky on the original image. My eye also keeps going to the blurred shadows around the bottom of her dress. I do like the mono treatment of this image too. |

Hi Henry, It is so refreshing to see a water stream with dreamy water that is not white! I love the way the stream starts high on the right, but ends up on the left side of the image. I think you have given us a lot to look at. I might experiment with cropping a bit of the greenery off the top to focus the eye on the water. Lovely image! |

Hi Andrew, An interesting image! I love the colours and if I printed it, I definitely would use metallic paper to enhance the metallic elements in the image. Have you thought about cropping off a bit on the left and then cropping it to a panorama just above the wheel. I think this would bring the eye to those delicious metallic colours with all that wonderful detail. |
