An image taken well in such trying circumstances. The artist looks very engaged in what he is doing and I think you have captured this well. |

Thank you all for your comments!
I have listened and made changes to my image. I have flipped it and now I believe that it does actually look better with a bit more room behind the boat and I've tilted it a bit as per Henry's suggestion.
Sometimes you just take the image, process it and say it is finished before you look at it properly "from all angles".
Thank you! |

At first I thought the photo had been taken through frosted glass, but after reading, I realised it was shadows on a sidewalk. Well done! It is an image that you can look at for a long time, finding new bits as you look around. |

This is a beautiful image and I am sure that Monica is very proud of it. I do find the punching bag a distraction. I caan see that you have toned it down, but I keep getting drawn to it instead of the main subject. |

I can see detail in the trees, but my eye is continually drawn to the beautiful mountain on the right. There is so much texture there and I'm finding that really interesting. The little creek adds a point of interest too as the lieading line takes the eye into the picture. |

An interesting image of people being busy with their own lives and not really paying attention to what is happening around them. Have you tried to dull the highlights on the buildings on the right? This may bring out some of the texture on them. |

I too prefer the colours in the original image. To me they are conveying a col tone. I do like the way the light across the water creates a leading line to the seat. |

Thanks for your comments, Moira. On the right of the image, was only trees. The boat is actually traveling to the left as the power from the paddle wheel is pushing the boat. |

You have done very well to stitch this image together and straighten the image. I think it still is falling backwards a bit though. I realise that you will lose the top if you straighten it a bit more. To me, the story is what is going on through the arch. |
