Thanks, Greg. It was from a full frame camera. I hope to get a macro lens in the near future! |

I love the intimacy of this image, and am fascinated by their way of life. I am drawn to the little girl in blue, who appears to be warming her hands by the fire, and her mother. By keeping the other children in the shade, it lets you focus your attention on them, and I like that. I am wondering, however, if it might be interesting to crop in from the sides. On the left, cropping slightly to the edge of the brick on the ground might create a little brighter image overall, and cropping to the edge of the smoke on the right would eliminate the distraction of that bright object. Just an idea - your images are always fantastic just as they are. |

Thanks for your help, Prasad. I tried to do it following your suggestions, but had a hard time. I don't have any kind of flash system - only a flashlight. I don't know if it was because I was using a lemon this time instead of an orange that made the difference, or what, but it didn't turn out very well. Oh well!! I always appreciate your suggestions and words of encouragement. Thanks |

An interesting shot of a busy place, and the lights and reflections are lovely. I, too, wish that there was more room at the top. The markings in the sky on the left and right edges don't look like clouds to me, and I am wondering if it would be an improvement to try and eliminate them? Just an idea.... |

That must have been a really interesting tour to take - how wonderful! I like this image a lot, and actually feel that the blurriness in the back adds to the artistic feel of it. If they all (or most) had been in focus, it wouldn't have been as unique. |

The sky is gorgeous, and the river certainly leads your eye right to it. I wonder how it might change it by cropping more off the bottom to increase the sky's impact? |

This image exudes happiness to me. I love how the light filters through the back of the petals. In regard to the sun, would it work to reduce the sky by half? It would still give you the lovely color, but take out a good portion of the glare. |

Thanks, David. I must have done something wrong though, because actually it's an orange! :) |

Thanks, Keith. I understand about the pulp not having much detail and I'll try to figure out if it could be corrected... |
