Thanks, Kathleen.... Unfortunately, I do not have Photoshop and so am unable to change the background. |

I wouldn't have the faintest idea how to do all that! The image is a wonderful explosion of color. I'm immediately drawn to the purples and oranges and then to the unusual (to me) base of the trees. Very cool shot. Could you consider cropping from the right - perhaps just to where the purple blossoms start. Just an idea |

What a great shot! To have captured it taking off like that must have been a thrill. The sky looks natural to me. I am wondering if the wingtips could be sharpened a little.. |

This feels so calm and warm that you'd like to spend hours there. I, too, like the addition of the cormorant and the post with it's reflection. The sand and vegetation create a lovely separation between the water and sky. I wonder if it would be a good idea to crop a little off the top though? It feels like there might be a little too much sky... |

Having spent wonderful weekends on my grandparent's farm in my youth, this immediately recreates the peacefulness I always felt there. This has it all - the shape of the barns, the tones of the fields, grass, and surrounding woods. The composition is perfect, and I'm drawn to the familiar dust kicking up behind the tractor. Thanks for sharing this. |
