Congratulations on a well-deserved honor! Very nicely composed. I agree with the others about the upper right tones, but regardless, this is a beautiful shot! |

This is so unusual. I agree with Andrew in that it could/should be in National Geographic. It is nice that you also included the original image, as you certainly made it pop in post. Really nice shot! |

What an exciting shot! The tones are beautiful, and the blur adds so much. |

Keith, I certainly agree with the others about this shot - it's very calming and beautifully composed. I would love to sit there for a lovely afternoon. The colors are beautiful as well but I feel that the greens in front of the chairs seem a little too saturated. Perhaps they could be toned down. A wonderful image. |

How wonderful that you live near such a gorgeous area! Great contrast between the layers makes it really intriguing. Nicely done! |

I appreciate your comments. I don't have Photoshop, and so don't have the ability to add layers. I did try to darken the highlights, but will see how it goes to crop the top trees/sky out entirely. I'll also increase the vibrance. As far as the ISO 6400, that was not a conscious decision, and I was as surprised as anyone to see that that is what happened. I try to shoot strictly in manual, and sometimes settings get away from me.
Thanks! |
