I am so glad that you explained the meaning that the river holds for people there. For me, that changed it from a pretty picture to an exceptional one. The transition from all the people waiting in their boats in the darkness of dawn, for the glorious light of the sunrise is lovely. The birds are surreal, and gives it a haunting effect. Well done! I would be interested in knowing what settings were used for this. |

I don't have the ability to alter a background, but know that others do. Other than that, you captured your friend's happy expression perfectly. It looks very natural, and I can see why he likes it. |

What a treat to see this. The texture of the feathers and the tree branch are beautiful, and I like how the pine needles(?) are softly spraying out in the bottom half. His expression is awesome. The only suggestion that I might make would be to remove the vertical branch on the left side - it seems distracting to me. |

Such lovely texture in this photo. I especially like the contrast in design between the castle on the left and the simpler roof on the right. Yes, the roof tiles lead you right up to the focal point, making it even more interesting. |

I love how the spray divides the photo, and the tonal variations from it. The water creates a nice blur to the background. It's a strong image to me - you wouldn't want to mess with that boat! |

Could there be anything cuter? I love how the light is enhancing those chubby cheeks and dimpled hands, while the old, faithful dog almost seems to be there to guard him. This one tells a sweet story. |

Thanks so much for the feedback. I will try to sharpen it, and dodge the wings. I've never tried that before, so we'll see how it goes! |
