Nice image , I too would have cropped out the person on the right so that the focus of the viewer remains on the main story . nicely done . One observation you have shot using 24-70 lens, with f/8 and shutter speed of 1/160.
you would have got same result with lower frame rate for this lens, and ZII has very good Image stabilization built in body as well the lens. if you would have used f/5.6 , ISO 800 and shutter of 1/80s
even at 3200 ISO , Nikon has given a very clean image. |

Yes the horses are the cops who have cleared the area of the river for the Naga sadhu's to take the holy dip. Naga Sadhu's have the first right of the dip for many many years ( centuries now , it is one interesting bit of history ). So everyone , even the PM of the country will have to wait for them , they have their specific date and time for the holy dip, and when they are in water no one else is allowed there. It is kind of a respect that they have earned. and everyone respectfully moves out of their way. |

I will try to answer your queries one by one.
Can you see the Image on your controller - Yes, The Controller has in built video receiver system, There are two types of controllers for drone - one with built in video screen , and other is where you attach your mobile phone / device to it with the drone app running, in this app you can see the live video .
this helps a great deal for flying as well as to compose the shot.
IS the camera capable of shooting in RAW- Yes , My drone has RAW image , I can set the camera to shoot in JPEG or RAW. Also for Video it has Normal video and D-Log video (Log video format, or Logarithmic Video, is a video format that captures more detail in dark and bright areas of an image. It's designed to be flat and desaturated, with little contrast or saturation, so that it can be easily color graded in post-production. )
but please remember the entry level drone usually do not have RAW and Log support. so if you are thinking of buying a drone, please read the specifications carefully.
Yes I did Post Process the image as I had shot in RAW. I have opened some shadows , and even applied Dehaze , but it was quiet hazy early in the morning, hence the feel of the image |

This is one of the best images I have seen in a long time, truly magnificent. I wouldnt change anything in the frame. the rocks and water in front gives so much of depth to the image. it's lovely . Well Done !! |

what a great timed shot. Kathleen your wildlife images are always something that I look forward to . such a great work. According to me everything is spot on in this image. As we know in wild one cannot always get our desired frame and settings , as we do not control anything ( nor the subjects nor the whether / location ) .So do not worry much about aesthetics , you have gift of documenting the wild continue to do so. |
