Thanks Laurie, the reason I did not crop the top piece jutting out is for two reasons. one I wanted to bring out the scale of the structure hence I did not crop the top. second reason is , if I would have cropped it , then the structure would seem infinitely tall. which too I did not want. as it would then look like a tall commercial building. But this is a fort , and not some boring commercial building.
