Thanks Laurie, I cropped the image , let me check the original if I have the top Paris in my frame. I dont remember . Well since the games were happening in Paris city centre, the whole of the city centre was closed to public, only those who had tickets were allowed in during the matches. so even though I was there for 13 days , I couldn't see Effiel Tower as it was closed. whole of the Paris had restrictions everywhere.
Also all the tickets were sold out and were being sold off again at a very high prices , as high as 1100 euros per ticket and for tennis and football even higher. |

Nice attempt at Macro photography, for best results in Macro you must have a flash with diffusers, the flash light stops the image for you and not the camera shutter, then you can even work with shutter speed as low as 1/100 at times. Flash is the key. Next time try it , but make sure you use a good wide diffuser which will disperse light from flash wider
, Also then you can use smaller apertures such as f/8 or 10. which will give you greater DoF. |

wow fantastic use of framing rules, I can see rule of thirds, Leading lines very dominantly in this one. Nicely balanced image. Great Depth of Field as well, everything is nice n sharp |

truly a classic one, without your description of events, this image would have been seen as just one girl watching over the sea and maybe thinking about something. But with your story, it really starts to grow upon you of what must be going on in her mind is also similar to her own hurricane of thoughts. Also one can then also imagine her Shirt ( which we cannot read whats on the back)but now can image it must be of the group she belongs to. Even though this is a still image one can see the strong breeze in her hair and the bush which is bent to left due to the strong winds adding motion to this otherwise still image. |
