Thanks for your appreciation, I see your point of red bag being distraction, yes i agree , but i have already said above why I kept these in my image.

I might re edit this image for open category where I shall replace the distraction elements.

82 Jul 23 Reply Thank you Laurie. The Third leg runner is completely covered by the lead runner hence only the leg is visible. Dark clouds is the main attraction why all photographers rush to capture this event as it happens in the months of june , which is beginning of Monsoons here in India. Hence the clouds and the drama, If it was not so ,all the images would really look ordinary.

82 Jul 23 Reply Thank you so much Jerry. You should visit India. it has a lot to offer to world travellers.

About the Cop in the orange vest, i did not remove her ,as I use this for PSA competition section Photojournalism / Travel. where removing and adding of anything is not allowed.

Hence I kept everything in the frame as it was captured.

82 Jul 23 Comment Congratulations, Laurie, on your fantastic capture of the waterscape with rocks displaying rich textures! Your photograph beautifully combines the elements of nature, showcasing your keen eye for detail and artistic vision.

The way you have captured the textures of the rocks, highlighting their intricate patterns and rough surfaces, is truly captivating. It adds depth and visual interest to the composition, drawing the viewer's attention to the natural beauty that surrounds us.

The waterscape in your photograph is equally breathtaking. The calmness of the water, its gentle ripples create a serene and tranquil atmosphere. The colors and lighting in your image further enhance the overall aesthetic appeal, creating a visually stunning piece of art.

Thank you for sharing this exquisite capture with us. Your talent for capturing the essence and beauty of natural landscapes is truly commendable. I do hope you must have also tried some slow shutter images to get foamy looking waves. if not next time you are around such place where the waves break over rocks , please do try 1s or 1/3s shutter shots. Keep up the amazing work, Laurie!
