82 Apr 23 Reply Thanks Gregory , first my apologies for delay in response. I was traveling and then was also down with cough n cold. I have attached the image which shows the complete structure of the temple on Left. While I wanted to show the people on right throwing the Turmeric powder on the god & People below and wanted to capture the flowing turmeric in the air, hence my preference of keeping more of right side of the composition.

Also since this trip of mine was very recent and I had clicked over 2000 images with different camera's ,also some videos , I honestly didnt get much time to even go through the entire folder, Today I opened the folder in Adobe bridge and found many images which are actually better than the one i posted.

So I am attaching, one of the better composed images, While I couldnt move an inch from where i was shooting and i was using Sony RX10M4 , camera the widest focal lenght of it is 24mm, Hence I had to move the camera horizontally to change the compositions, Also as I wanted to shoot slow shutter I was using some support of the structure, as even though i had carried my tripod with me, i was not allowed to use it, it is a common rule in all such places of worship and tourist places in India, we are not allowed to use Tripods. Anyways. While I tried a few shutter speed options I found 0.4s most suitable for what I desired.

My EXIF for this image and the attached image is
Camera :- Sony RX10M4
Shutter speed :- 0.4s
Aperture :- f/11
ISO :- 100
Shot in Shutter priority ( hence the aperture was selected by camera)

As i have mentioned earlier almost 0.6 Million devotees visit this festival every year, this year too I guess it was same, and everyone literally carries Turmeric to offer to the god, and since everyone cannot reach the god at an arms length they all shower and throw the turmeric in air , hoping some it will fall on the God's idol, and hence 0.6 million people throwing turmeric in air , gives the entire temple and its surrounding the yellow tone , heavily suspended in air, everything has a cast of yellow.

Laurie asked about audio , The entire area was ringing with chants of gods name.

I hope I have answered everyone's queries.

And once again thank you all for appreciating my efforts.
