Thanks Kathleen and great observation about the hand, I can crop it out easily without changing the narrative of the image. |

Thanks a lot David for pointing it out, I shall work on it right away.
As I had once mentioned, I do not alter many of my images by removing or adding anything from them is because I submit such images under the Realism category in PSA competitions, So this image qualifies for Travel and Photojournalism, sometimes even themed ones such as People, Culture, Sporting event. And in such cases I will get disqualified if I make any changes.
Anyways for this group submission I can do that. |

Speaking of Composition, i would have loved more space towards the right, so the bench would be towards the left, cause the two tree trunks on the left are kind of a negative space.

Hello Laurie,
What an Image, it is timed to perfection, when all the humans are looking in opposite direction, this curious and alert pet caught your camera and you. It really makes this very unique it that respect.
Few thoughts on your EXIF, when you are shooting wide as 32mm , you can lower the shutter speed comfortably. I would even try to go as low as 1/50 without worrying about shake, by doing this I can lower the ISO to 200 or so. As general rule of thumb is the focal lenght used ( in your case 32mm) should be your minimum shutter speed to avoid shake in handheld photography. You must try it, a few things will effect this rule, e.g if you are shooting a highspeed vehicle or fast moving subjects , then you need to increase your shutter speed accordingly, but in street photography and other genre's where the subject is slow moving or more or less stationary you can go low shutter speed.
About Lightroom resizing - LR is a very good tool for saving your high resolution images in smaller file size, the algorithm used by LR and such professional softwares is much better than used by social media. So no need to worry about picture quality going bad, as LR will give you the best possible image at that file size or reduced version of it.
You can use this link to read more about it.

hope this helps.
Once again great image. |

Hi Andrew,
Superb image, I loved the way you cropped this one as wide as possible, very sharp image right from bottom till top. Only input I can offer is - please give more room on top, as the water horizon and land + sky above it is too tiny and almost feels like some distraction.
