To add to my earlier tips , please use a tripod if possible with CPL filter, using tripod will help you shoot at lower shutter by Keeping ISO as low as possible ( lower the ISO higher is the dynamic range of your shot ) |

i have gone higher in many a cases , but that is generally for normal landscapes, your subject is very challenging due to reflective surfaces . Hence my suggestions. |

wow living in tropics I have never witnessed this phenomenon. thanks Laurie for sharing this image and information . f22 could be the issue here , higher aperture numbers have a trouble of higher refraction of light and in such challenging subject it multiplies many fold . as it is the ice and water is reflecting light of its surface , plus to add to that is the f22, If possible try this image with starting f/8 and go up till f/16 . I am sure you will get your desired star effect for sun rays and also get a good sharper image. Expose for sky around the sun ( and not the sun) . to get details on the sky , and later try opening up the shadows. Please try and share your results. This is a very interesting subject and I am eager to see if my suggestions help. |

very vibrant and colorful image . The Left flower is higher than the rest and hence in my opinion it is out of focus. the others are similar height and hence sharp. even at f/10 , this is an amazing combo for such shots. almost as if a Macro lens. Z9 is a superb camera and I am eager to see your next images . |

awesome effort , esp from a window of flight , we all know how difficult it is to shoot from a flight window. Superb leading lines composition . well balanced exposure. Great shot

Hey Keith , Thanks a lot friend. The moment I saw this frame , the first thing came to my mind was Monochrome. Yes the color version also looks good but Monochrome has it own magic. |
