great image and editing. very difficult to get such HDR kind of images right . I can see some aspherical behaviour of the lens towards the right side ( noticed it due to the painting frame) Have you used a wide angle lens like 11-16mm ?
Apart from that a great image. I would also try such shots as bracketed shots . one exposure for outside light and one for inside and then blend it . |

Hi Isaac
Many thanks for the appreciation. To get this magnificient statue and the background without crowd I woke up early and went to the shooting spot before sunrise.Hence very less people . you can see a few inside the temple ( under the statue) in the shadows. NO the 3 elements in the right are not people. But yes the size of the statue is huge , it is 123 feet 37.5m |

Awesome capture Kathleen. great compositions too. I would love to see the unsharpened image , the morning mist would really make it an awesome picture , right out of a story book IMO. Please if you can share the unsharpened edit i would love to see.

Hi Laurie
Great image and composition almost perfect rule of thirds with the Boy and water stream.
Though personally i would make this image a bit warm and brighten it up a bit to bring out the liveliness in the frame due to the kids enjoying the water.
About Exif I would like to know the lens used. I am attaching herewith my version of edit . |

Hey Stephen ,
Thanks a lot for the appreciation , The Hand positions are called as "Mudra". Mudras are hand gestures during meditation that channel your body's energy flow.
The lower Right hand Mudra is called as Gyan Mudra . The intention of the Gyan mudra is to improve your concentration and sharpen your memory. This is a great mudra to use when seeking to gain knowledge. The upper two hands are holding weapon ( Trident) and Damroo his musical instrument, Shiva is often described as cosmic dancer and a great musician. Shiva's Tandavam is the cosmic dance and his Damaru (a small hourglass shape drum) represent the cosmic sound. Lower Left hand is just rested on above his foot.
Indian Mythology is full of Symbolism . I hope i have given you the reply you seek. Please do not hesitate to ask .
Once again thanks a lot for the kind words. Keep visiting us at Group 82.
Cheers and stay safe
