Thanks for the uncropped image , i really love it more with the buildings , this tells the story of the importance of the Gondola being the only means of transport in this beautiful place . Now we get more depth in the image which helps the perspective . |

Hey Laurie
So kind of you thanks for the words of appreciation . I try to give the story and thought behind my image so that it will help viewers to understand some of the scene and importance ( if any) . And since my narratives are so well received here in the group I am encouraged to write them. Thanks everyone for the support and Motivation.
Regards and Be safe from the Virus thing going around. |

Wow such a captivating image , wants me to just go there and spend a few days in this place . such a calm and peaceful looking place , living in vicinity of snow clad mountains . Just loving it . |

Superb work Ruth. I have also shot birds so i know the challenges , when the birds are most active is during the sunset time when the light is low and further getting lower , thats when they are most active esp in Hot whether they love such dips and the water splashes and droplets on their body is such a treat to capture . you have done full justice to it . awesome . |

Yes even i guessed that you were referring to the earlier months image. :-) . thanks for your words on this image. And yes I had increased the aperture to max to get the light behind the birds to create silhoutte while exposing the sunlight reflection in the water as well.

Hi Kathleen
Thank you for the appreciation and yes its challenging to click from a moving boat to get your framing and other settings right is very difficult but i was lucky to have got it . |

Very nice PoV , Though i would have loved to see a bit more of the scene , some space on top of the image might add to the scene . Otherwise a very fine well exposed image |

Hey Andrew thanks for pointing it out , during my edit too I noticed it and was about to Heal it , however i have saved this version to be submitted in some PSA of FIP Salon or circuit so I did not do it as it is not allowed to remove or add any object . And as you noted it is not Sensor dust so to be safe I left it untouched . However whenever I print this one I shall definately do some cleaning of it for Print.
Thanks Once again. |
