A Very fine Image , I loved the way you framed it , my eyes are slowly drawn from the sand to the rock then to water and finally on the clouds , the way one walks into the ocean . I feel if during the shot if you could have taken the exposure down by 1 or 2 stops( 1/3rd stop) it would have helped you in PP, you could have had better control over the clouds , In my opinion clouds are slightly over exposed.
Overall a very fine image. lovely and easy on eyes. |

Hey Andrew
Thanks for the appreciation and inputs , I shall definately work on all the points Yourself and Laurie has pointed out whenever i revisit this image for edit . I am positive it will improve my image , A very well made point about the shirt color , Next time when i shoot such a selfie , i shall remember not to wear color which will over shadow my main subject. |

Hi Xiao
To me its a image that tells a story , also i liked the originals more than the edited one , but as you said you wanted an artistic feels , it does bring that to your image. Colors are nice and bold , flower is balancing the colors , however my eyes tend to keep moving from window grills , Eyes , flower , blue shirt , even his pants , and back . So for a portrait shot i find it distracting , ideally your elements of the image should bring viewers eyes to one thing in image. Light is good , if you subject is the model only then cut out the window , or somehow bring the focus onto the model , as right now window is taking away the attention.
This is purely in my opinion.
I have tried my hand , have soften the image a bit , did levels and curves adjustment , added vignette to hide the window . hope you like it and dont mind my editing. |

This is a Wow of a image for me , for many reasons, i means it a very good example of landscape photography , you have leading lines, layers , Well balanced foreground , middle and background with colors and the way our eyes are drawn to the small sailboat is just awesome. if you dont mind I have tried my hand on your image in PS have made some minor adjustements with Levels, Curves, Vibrance , and i high pass filter to increase some sharpness for the trees behind . i am adding my edited version here for your kind consideration. |

Hi Andrew
A very lively image , i would have been inclined to shoot this at slow shutter using ND filter to give it a more surreal feel and soften the water and show movements of kids who are always jumping and moving in a fountain . however you have frozen the moment very well . Apart from what has already been said , i do not have anything more to add. Would love to see some more images if you have tried playing with shutter during this shoot.
With Regards
