35 Oct 17 Reply I haven't used silver express pro for ages having deleted it once nik went the way so many other companies. And, the only recipes I now use are for my slow cooker.

My question is actually more general. I used n 87c b/w for 99% of my IR film shooting which is what the Lifepixel deep IR conversion is supposed to be. This filter only 'sees' at and above 810nm light bandwidths which are should preclude any color in the resulting image. So, I was curious about your results as a user.

35 Oct 17 Comment I have other images of this bunker which I like; but, when I saw this perception and how the bunker was seemingly being absorbed by nature, I had to shoot that. It's as if nature was saying "you're mine now!"

Btw, these bunkers were used to store TNT during WWII.

35 Oct 17 Comment Nice shot! Love the strong composition of the tree. The lady on the bench adds a nice static human touch.

35 Oct 17 Comment What a great shot! Processing was spot on whatever you did. Needs someone walking a bike just past that crack in the road. Oct 22nd
35 Oct 17 Comment Love the subject matter but hate that cloud. When you want a cloud like that there are none around. If this where you reshoot this the catechism a at time when there are whisky or little puffy clouds around. Then replace one sky with the other however you PS guys do that. The comp is killer in showing a scene of desolation and decay. Nice! Oct 22nd
35 Oct 17 Comment If the image was in open sun then it's about 3 stops over exposed. The image has potential if you pump up the exposure and ramp up the contrast. Is the original a raw or jpg file. Oct 22nd
35 Oct 17 Comment This is basically a nice composition; however, Ole Sol was not cooperating. The near high point of the sun caused minimal shadows under and around the barn and especially the trees. Try shooting a tree at a local park from the same position but at a number of times during the day and you'll see marked differences in the impact.

35 Oct 17 Comment I really like this image and the composition. That said, I found the tones of the barn roof blending with background on both sides which kept down the separation. Is the b/w conversion a desaturation or dragging down the magenta tone?

I ask b/c I'm converting my Sony A65 soon for IR usage and the deep IR was my first choice. However, I'm now considering the full spectrum conversion which would allow me to add the appropriate IR filter, as well as doing some ultraviolet imagery.
