I am not sure what it was going for- maybe just a drink? I did not see a fish. These spoonbills are about the size of a wild turkey . I never saw one in PA either but love seeing them in Florida. |

I agree with others this is a wonderful scene . Some adjustments with the exposure /colors might make it even better. |

Maybe I should darken the tree a little bit- good suggestion . I was not in water but on the edge of thick mangroves peaking through any where I could find an open space. I was limited on how I could move with so many thick branches. |

Yes- that branch did not cooperate lol. I was in the middle of a mangrove trail peaking through any open areas so it was hard to move away from it due to thick branches. That green on left is a reflection in the water from foliage above it. |

Lucky you to have this flicker family so close to your home. Yes, they blend in so well with the trees it is a challenge to get them to pop out more. Maybe try using try to burn the flicker a little to make it darker than the tree? Maybe you did? I would brighten the gray and red areas? Masking is another option to try but that is another challenge in itself. Maybe take out the tree on the right completely so the background is lighter on that side? Either way lucky- you to capture this! |

Love your fall photo and how it leads me down the colorful path . I like how the path is wider in in front of the photo . |
