82 Dec 20 Comment What a great experience to experiment and learn hands on this way. I could not believe how beautiful this was when I opened up this photo. The models glowing skin and gorgeous features popped right out. The position of her face and eyes make the profile seem mystical even with the slight shadow on one side.
Which camera did you use for this? and your settings?

I am curious about only one thing . Her head covering is cut off on the top and wonder if that was on purpose?

You are so talented and knowledgeable . You are also very well rounded to accomplish this portrait.

82 Dec 20 Reply Thank you so much for the advice. I will try this out. I am very lazy when it comes to using a tripod because don't want to carry one around on my walks. But , I will test it out with your helpful suggestions. I appreciate your taking the time to explain this so clearly. Dec 10th
82 Dec 20 Comment Lucky you to find a beautiful lake you found while walking that you captured. I keep looking at those branches on the top left. They do balance out the photo but in a way I also find them a little distracting. The rocks along the shore are interesting and add to your photo . Dec 8th
82 Dec 20 Comment Both you and Andrew both have amazing night photos. Your photo is very interesting and impressive ! What lovely Christmas colors and details! WOW F14 - I have never used that. The full moon is an added bonus to your photo. Dec 8th
82 Dec 20 Comment Wow! What an awesome capture! Look how sharp and focused all the buildings are with the fabulous lights.

I don't know how and what double exposure involves. Now- I will research that to find out and learn more from this group. My Sony Rx10 bridge camera does not do well ( for me) in low light situations. I have to start researching to find another camera. I have grown very fond of my Sony for daylight birding though .
