Hi Sylvia, A beautiful image, very powerful! Interesting editing! In my opinion, If you want to keep it as a "document" image, it would be better to make the whole image a black-and-white image. Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Maria, this is a beautiful duck, and it's a very interesting image! However, the image is a little flat, probably due to the lighting, and the duck wing feathers are a little messy, unable to stand out from the background. Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Murphy, Thank you for your comments! I have never done focus stacking before, but I agree with you that it is probably the only way to achieve what I want: "visual impact." |

Hi Alane, Thank you for your explanation. Interesting! I never thought the lighting had such dramatic effects on the reflection of the cup than the cup itself. |

Hi Pierre,
It is an interesting subject and your image makes me wonder. I like the warm color tune and vibrant colors. I think it is very difficult to shoot this kind of subject well, because of the anther's texture, which hardly focuses well. I think the focus point should be in the anther, but my eyes always draw into the stem at the bottom of the image because of the lighting reflection on the stem. Maybe you can change the lighting, or direction of the subject, at which don't let the groove of the anther in the image center. It is just my thoughts.

Hi Murphy, It is an interesting subject with beautiful lines! I like the lighting: soft and a little backlighting gives it a moody look. It is a nice black and white image, which emphasizes the grainy texture feel of the leaves. You did a great job! Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Charles, Thank you for your explanation! I have some questions for you: Does this reflection of the cup overpower the main subjects? Where do the white straight lights on the reflection of the cup come from (while there are no these lights on the main subject)? |

Hi Charles,
Wow, so beautiful image, very detailed, very sharp, and looks very "Juice". You did a great job!
I like the "final" one, the shapes are very interesting and very dynamic, but I like the reflection on the "original" one. I feel the reflection on the "final" one is a little unnatural feel, a little distracting, and probably it needs a little blurry.
Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Alane, Interesting subjects and interesting settings. I like the composition, well balanced. I am not good at shooting this kind of subject. I was wondering about the reflection for a while and was not sure whether it was the reflection of the cup or the second cup upside down. Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Barbara, this is a beautiful image, very sharp and detailed. I like the colors and lighting. Interesting composition! I feel it isn't easy to compost a flower well, but you did a great job. Thanks for sharing! |

Hi Charles, Thank you very much for your comments! I agree with you, and the focus is the problem. But I like selective focus, not everything in the focus. I like your edited version, and it looks much better. Thanks again! |
