What a great shot Gregory. The red building is center stage of this image framed by the branches of the pine trees in the foreground. The contrasting colors of the pine trees behind the cannery are a great background and the snow flecked mountains form a third tier in this image and add even more interest. |

Very nice shot Andrew. The white foam of the breaking wave forms the perfect background to the dark figure of the surfer.
In the cropped image the surfer is almost in the center and the scene is nicely framed by the blue ocean. I think I prefer the original uncropped image as I quite like negative space which adds some dynamic to the photo. It's all in the eyes of the beholder.... |

What a beautiful family shot Laurie. I love the symmetry of the composition with both the parents and the chicks looking at each other. The colors and reflections add to the image and the eyes of all the birds have beautiful catchlights and the image is perfectly cropped. The only improvement I can suggest is to try and sharpen the heads of both "parents" using some post processing software. The eyes of the adult birds don't seem to be entirely in focus. I think that a bit of sharpening could address this and make this lovely image perfect. |

This is one of the most amazing photographs I have seen. A fantastic shot of the eagles in "action". The movement is perfectly frozen, both eagles are in focus.... a wonderful image Kathleen. Congratulations!
The only bit of advise I can offer is about the cropping. It seems a bit too close on the right hand side almost cropping the tips of the wings.
I am curious to know what the spidery wires are?
