Thank you everyone for your very valuable comments.
To me the image felt a bit "awkward" for lack of a better word and I found it difficult to identify what it was.
Increasing the saturation, enlarging the sailing boat (and bringing it forward to add more depth) and some cropping are all good suggestions. I will play with these options and see what comes of it.

Amazing shots Kathleen! I have never heard or seen this bird, it has such unusual and beautiful colouring. Am very impressed with the shots of the bird in flight. I cannot add much - great bokeh on all images and the bird in sharp focus despite the movement! |

This is an image has great atmosphere, the colouring is beautiful and I like the low angle at which it was taken. If it had been possible, I would have tried to take the image slightly more from the left to give the image more depth and I would have tried to include all of the shadow. All very difficult to do in a boat :). |

It's a very competent shot and the clouds are beautiful, but I am not sure about the composition. The modern, protecting structure (my interpretation) seems to overpower the historical building which I take to be the focus. It may be very tricky to exclude the modern structure from the shot. I think this is a very difficult subject to take, I might not even have attempted it. So well done for trying! |

This image is beautifully composed. I love the angle from which the image was taken, but agree that you could increase the saturation and reduce the tree foliage by some margin. Cropping the image may or may not be a good idea, it may change the image too much. You will need to be a judge of this. |
