Thank you Kathleen for your kind words. Blurring the background further may indeed have a positive impact. I will try it and I thought that more cropping on the left side might help as well to center the focus entirely on horse and rider. To demonstrate what I mean with lack of animation, I attach one of the next shots I took of this particular rider. This, in my view is much more animated, but has a background which is very difficult to fix. |

Thank you very much Prasad for your kind comments. I think I miss the speed. Horses always slow down before they jump, it sort of halts the movement. To me the image is just not as dramatic as it could be. Lower angles usually help, but it would have been difficult to get any closer. |

A shot very much to my liking. I love the symmetry and colours of this image. The many lines ought to make this image busy, but it is not. The person in the middle is the "missing" pole, but his form is breaking the pattern. A very, very clever image Andrew. Absolutely love it. |

What a beautiful image Kathleen! I love the soft colours, the detail of the outcrop, but my favorite part of the image is the oval shaped reflection of the dark hill in the background. The reflections of the trees within the oval is just perfect.
PS: I am very envious, the location of your home is just amazing. |

Great image and great composition. The people in the foreground are standing just in the right spot. The gentile shape of the waves, the reflection of the soft light on the water and the detail of the beautiful cloud formations make it a really beautiful seascape. Congratulations Prasad. |

It's a wonderful image of the Gullfoss, with blue skies and a rainbow - very special. I agree about the shadows, maybe you could crop the bottom of the image so that only part of the first shadow is visible. It would make the image more landscape which you may not like, but it might just work.
Still a beautiful image, despite the shadows. |

A suburb image. I love the softness of the early morning colours, the detail of the grasses and the mist... it is so tranquil. Absolutely beautiful. |
