It's a brilliant "capture the moment" shot. I agree with Prasad's observation about the cropping, but that's probably not an option. I quite like the red can and tail light, it adds to the image. The only possible improvement I can suggest is to tone down the bright sky. I would also convert the image to Sepia and shades of B&W to see how it changes the character to it. After all, Cartier-Bresson would have shot this in B&W! |

Beautiful capture Kathleen, beak and eyes are very sharp, background beautifully blurred.
To also get sharpness in the feathers you may try and use a slightly higher F-stop to have better depth of field.

Suburb capture Laurie! I love the sun's reflections on the rocks and the waves and you got the flare absolutely right. The perfect image. Most impressively too is the fact that you were about at dawn to capture this image :) |
