Thank you for your kind words Prasad. Unfortunately with birds it's often not so much a matter of great work, but lots of luck and patience :) As you know it's impossible to stage the scene, but it's a matter of pressing the release button at the right time (Continuous High Release with up to 5.5 frames per second). Technology is a great help when it comes to bird photography. |

Very nice capture of a gondola. Perfect depth of field and the colour tones are interesting. I think the image is well balanced, although Prasad's suggestion of a bit more space on top may add to the image.

Lovely capture of this wintery scene. I love the detail of the stone houses with the snow covered steps and the interesting door. I also like the line of the road which invites you to follow it. Lovely shot Laurie.

A breathtaking image Amy. Beautiful light and morning mist and yet there is so much interesting detail in the picture. I love this image. |

What a beautiful nature image. The colouring and details of the leathery skin of the Iguana are fascinating. The image is perfectly captured. It's a great shot. |

The comment above is referring to your entry from February. For some reason it was in this month's entry.
The image with the flamingos is absolutely lovely. Taking photographs against the light is never easy, but the colour came out beautifully. I wonder if you could have increased the speed to silhouette the flamingos more (turn them black), but this may have taken away the serenity of the image. It's a lovely image all the same. |

A beautiful and striking photograph. The birds emerging from the mist give the image an almost spiritual feeling.
It suggests the stillness of the early morning and one can imagine the sound of the flapping wings of the birds passing overhead. An amazing shot. |
