Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
82 Jan 20 Reply Sorry for the late response. Thank you so much for your kind comments and observations. I wished I could claim that I had the composition in mind. In reality it is a very hurriedly taken image and it was good luck that the composition turned out ok. I think that photography sometimes not only requires good skills, but also a lot of luck! This is one of the lucky images. Jan 22nd
82 Jan 20 Reply Thank you for your comments Kathleen. Your thoughts are very pertinent. I think he was a lonely man. We stayed in Urbino for a few days and saw him every day sitting by himself either next to a pillar in the main square or in one of the surrounding coffee shops.

82 Jan 20 Comment This is an amazing photograph Prasad. I love the composition and even from a colour perspective the orange sky matches the orange "suns". It is a hugely technical and yet a very creative image. I am also in awe of your commitment to photography. 2 night trips and with lots of photographic gear in your luggage is no mean feat. Brilliant!

82 Jan 20 Reply Thank you for your kind comments Prasad. I think that the background could be faded out a bit more and I would also like to crop the top of the image, but doing so, would cut off the top of the waste bin, so I just left it as is. Jan 8th
82 Jan 20 Comment This could be an impressionist painting or an abstract image.
I love the strong yellow of the leaves interspersed with brown and red autumn colours. The grey tree trunks provide the image with an irregular pattern. The image offers an interesting aspect of a forest in autumn colours. Maybe it can be made more abstract by adding blur or distortion filters....

82 Jan 20 Comment This is a beautiful image. The detail of the petals is softened by the blurred background. The stem is just visible, supporting, but not distracting from the flower head. The waterdrops and the light on the flower petals and the cool green of the background suggest the freshness of an early morning. The central position of the flower suits this image I think. I could not improve it. Great work. Jan 8th
82 Jan 20 Comment What an exquisite shot! The eye and head of the bird are the focus of this image. The background is beautifully handled - nothing distracts from the main subject. The branch is at a pleasing angle and the soft colouring of bird and background match well and all of it make this a very pleasing image.
What could possibly be improved? I would try and sharpen the wings and body of the bird, if it's possible. It's not a real issue as the eye and the head of the bird are quite sharp. I would also try and crop the right hand side of the image a tiny bit to make the bird less central.
Even without the changes it is a very beautiful image.
